This is our go-to card for travel. It has a $95 annual fee, but the 3x points on restaurants and online groceries, plus the 25% bonus on points redeemed for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards, make it worth it. We also love the flexibility of transferring points to airline and hotel partners.

This card has no annual fee and offers 5% cash back on rotating categories each quarter. It`s perfect for everyday spending and pairs well with the Sapphire Preferred for earning Ultimate Rewards points.

Another no annual fee card, it offers 1.5% cash back on all purchases. It`s great for earning points on non-bonus categories and can also transfer points to the Sapphire Preferred.

This card has a $95 annual fee and offers 2x miles on every purchase. It`s perfect for those who want a simple rewards structure without worrying about rotating categories.

With an Anniversary Free Night, that immediately made the $95 annual fee worth it to us. Diamond Elite Status is the cherry on top. We use this card whenever we book an IHG hotel (for a total of 27x points!!), but it also has 5x points on all travel purchases.
